I’m a trained Freight Virtual Assistant building my career in freight and logistics operations. My goal is to provide reliable day-to-day support while continuing to learn the systems, processes, and workflows used by each company I work with.
Through my freight training, I’ve learned how freight operations move from load coordination to shipment tracking, documentation, communication, and follow-up. I can support tasks such as monitoring shipment status, coordinating loads, updating TMS and spreadsheets, communicating with carriers and brokers, organizing freight documents, scheduling appointments, sending email updates, and keeping records accurate and up to date.
I’m familiar with Ascend TMS, DAT One, Trucker Tools, TruckMiles, Google Sheets/Excel, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office. I understand that every company has its own TMS, procedures, communication standards, and way of handling loads, so I’m prepared to learn and adapt to your specific process.
My freight training includes hands-on simulations covering dispatch workflows, track & trace, load coordination, freight documentation, freight class, and broker-carrier communication. I’ve also developed experience in customer support and remote administrative work, which strengthened my communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
I may be transitioning into professional freight operations, but I’m not starting from zero. I have a foundation in freight processes, familiarity with industry tools, and a strong willingness to learn from an experienced team.
