Hi, I'm Prince — a full-stack developer and Computer Engineering graduate who loves building things people actually use.
I graduated Valedictorian of Engineering and Computer Technology, Magna Cum Laude, from Wesleyan University-Philippines, but the -----------nt that shaped me most wasn't in a classroom — it was launching Lunchboxd, a campus food directory I founded and built end-to-end. Within 72 hours of launch, it had 430+ users and, not long after, an official endorsement to keep running on campus. Watching something I architected from scratch — infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment, all of it — become part of people's daily routine taught me more about engineering than any course could.
I work across the full stack, with hands-on experience in React, Next.js, Node.js, and cloud platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, and Firebase, alongside a foundation in networking and systems (VLANs, routing, firewalls) from my Computer Engineering background. At DICT Region III, I helped build Ginhawa, a telehealth platform for Indigenous Peoples and remote communities in geographically isolated areas — work that was pitched directly to the agency and reminded me why I got into tech in the first place: to build things that matter for people who need them most.
Outside of code, I've spent years as a private tutor helping students work through calculus, physics, and data structures, and as a student leader — serving as College Treasurer, team captain, and competition lead across multiple ICPEP events. I care a lot about building things with people, not just for them.
I'm always looking to keep learning — right now that's deeper cloud architecture, data engineering, and sharpening the systems-thinking side of software design. If you're building something ambitious, working in civic tech, or just want to talk shop about full-stack engineering, I'd love to connect.
Software Engineer, magna cum laude Computer Engineering graduate, and College Valedictorian with a proven track record of building production-grade systems for real users. Founded and launched Lunchboxd, a campus food directory that acquired 430+ users in its first 72 hours and won three awards at Project Design 2026. Contributed to telehealth and data migration initiatives at DICT Region III, delivering measurable civic impact. Bring end-to-end ownership across architecture, development, and deployment on modern full-stack and cloud platforms.
