I am a Registered Metallurgical Engineer with over eight years of combined experience in gold processing, plant metallurgy, hydrometallurgical research, and process optimization. My professional background includes gold plant operations, metallurgical troubleshooting, electrowinning, smelting, plant commissioning support, and the development of hydrometallurgical processes for critical mineral recovery.
Currently, I work as a Project Technical Assistant I on a government-funded research project focused on the extraction of rare earth elements from coal fly ash while also serving as an Associate Lecturer in Metallurgical Engineering. These roles have strengthened my technical, analytical, and leadership skills through process development, experimental design, data analysis, technical reporting, and mentoring students.
I hold a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, with research focused on process optimization using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
I am seeking opportunities where I can apply my experience in process metallurgy, mineral processing, and continuous improvement to enhance plant performance, optimize metal recovery, and contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable mining and metallurgical operations.
