Job Post 1: Technical Content & Operations Assistant (IT/EA)
Role Overview:
I am the Product Strategist for TheShmuz. We are a small, highly agile core team driving a well-established, 15+ year-old non-profit. Because we manage a massive library of audio and video content for a large audience, our technical infrastructure is complex, but our team culture remains tight-knit and fast-paced.

We are currently revamping our website, mobile app, and integrating Kajabi. I need a highly organized Technical EA to manage my daily workflow, consolidate documentation, ensure our content distribution is flawless, and ensure that we execute on our highest priorities.

Note : Strong IT management experience is an advantage.

Core Responsibilities:

Keep me focused on priority tasks, being eager to take over those tasks where you can handle most of them first time

Strong Organization skills - to get my files, folders and document content (technical and general management notes) consolidated and nicely organised.

Be happy to work with my ADD type personality/mind - ie help keep us focussed and making notes of all the itesm i need to get done, and often reminding me of most impoirtant prioritises to get back on track

Structure daily 10-20 minute pdaily and weekly planning sessions and prepare weekly accomplishment reports.

Audit content across Vimeo, YouTube, Spotify, and Instagram to ensure all content is on all platforms, then to load up missing/fix existing content and/or links or work with person who does this for us to get it done.

Execute web ops or ensure tasks get done by hosting company (DNS updates, domain management, email deliverability) and Kajabi/WordPress administrative tasks.

Interface with third-party online services to understand, troubleshoot, and implement improvements to our hosting and systems infrastructure.

Requirements:

Strong English to understand each other first time

Empathic and patient, but strong enough to suggest best way forward given priorities on documentation we will work on together.

Highly practical and collaborative.

Comfortable diving into third-party platforms to understand how they work and how to optimize our setup. Familiarity with Google Cloud / Firebase is preferable.

Proactive but strictly adheres to boundaries; must be comfortable asking questions.

Strong English communication for managing external business relationships.

WordPress/Kajabi experience is highly preferred.
