JOB OVERVIEW

CORPORATE GIFTING SALES COORDINATOR & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Lux & Nyx | Full-time | Remote | Overlaps US business hours | Long-term

ABOUT US
Lux & Nyx designs architectural handbags for professional women who
refuse to choose between style and function. We've been featured in
Forbes, Refinery29, NPR, and Marie Claire, and we sell across Shopify
(DTC), Amazon, Nordstrom, and Macy's — plus a corporate gifting channel
that sells our bags to companies through promotional-products
distributors. We're a small, remote-first team led by our founder. We
move fast, build systems that compound, and hire people who can think
and ship.

THE ROLE
You'll run the engine behind our corporate gifting (B2B) sales channel
— the line we sell through promotional-products distributors who place
our bags into corporate gifts, executive incentives, and
employee-appreciation programs. The founder works the in-person events
and trade shows (like ASI Chicago) and does the pitching and closing. You
run everything on the digital side: set up and send the cold email
outreach, connect with prospects on LinkedIn, capture and organize every
contact into one master list, nurture and follow up so nothing lapses,
respond to distributors with a ready quote, keep the CRM clean, and run
orders smoothly. You're also the founder's executive assistant — the right
hand who keeps the day-to-day admin and operations running.

This is a proactive, own-it seat — not a wait-to-be-told seat. Our
channel slipped once because outreach and follow-up lapsed; your #1 job
is to make sure that never happens again. You run the calendar, tell the
founder what you need and when, and never let a campaign, a relationship,
or an order slip. We should never have to chase you.

Some honest context on the opportunity: this channel did about $200K last
year and dropped to roughly half — simply because it stopped being
consistently worked. We have 1,000+ warm contacts (only ~100 were being
followed up) and 20,000+ cold contacts. The founder brings in leads at
events; you turn them into an organized list, work them with cold email
and LinkedIn, and follow up until they're ready-to-present opportunities.
Recovering this channel is largely consistent outreach and follow-up done
well — and growing it from there is a big, uncapped opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Cold email outreach — set up and run the cold email campaigns and
sequences to distributor prospects; track open/reply and test subject
lines. (Campaign copy direction comes from the founder; you build,
run, and test it.)
- LinkedIn outreach — connect with prospects and with the contacts the
founder meets at events; open and warm up those relationships.
- Contact capture and the master list — take down and organize every
email and contact (from events, leads, and research) into ONE master
filterable list; keep it clean and current.
- Warm nurture and follow-up — keep every relationship from going cold;
follow up relentlessly so nothing lapses.
- Consultative response — read a distributor's client brief and
recommend the right products, quantities/MOQs, and decoration; prep the
quote for the founder to present and close.
- Order operations — read purchase orders, catch a price or quantity
error, track in-hand dates, and run orders cleanly through our
decorator and warehouse. Catch the wrong address before it ships.
- Founder and admin support (the second hat) — you're also the founder's
right hand on day-to-day admin: inbox and calendar, scheduling,
organizing files and data, prepping documents and decks, and keeping
tasks and follow-ups on track so the founder can focus on selling and
closing.

The gifting channel is the priority; founder/admin support is a steady
part of every week — you'll comfortably wear both hats.

Run first, automate second: your first ~90 days are about mastering and
running the channel as it is (don't rebuild what works). Once you own it,
you make it lighter — and everything you build gets a short SOP.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You're proactive and low-maintenance — you run your piece and keep it
moving without being chased. This is #1.
- 5+ years in B2B sales ops, outbound/demand-gen, sales support, or
e-commerce coordination.
- Hands-on with outbound: you've set up cold email campaigns and done
LinkedIn outreach (Apollo / a CRM / an email tool / Sales Navigator),
and you keep ONE master filterable list, not scattered ones.
- Disciplined with CRM and follow-up — you keep a pipeline clean, every
contact has a next step, and you follow up relentlessly so nothing
lapses.
- A clear, warm B2B communicator — your cold emails and replies get read
and answered, and you prep clean quotes.
- A reliable operator — high-volume orders and coordination without
dropping balls; you catch the error before it ships.
- Strong executive-assistant instincts — organized, discreet, and
proactive with a founder's inbox, calendar, and day-to-day admin.
- Comfortable in async, remote, founder-led work, with solid daily
overlap with US business hours (our distributors are US-based).
- AI-native — you use AI to work faster and more accurately, with your
judgment on top.
- Nice to have (not required): promotional-products / distributor
experience; simple automations (Make/Zapier). You'll learn our niche
on the job.

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS (targets calibrate quarterly)
- Outbound live on cadence: cold email + LinkedIn going out consistently;
open/reply rates to target.
- Warm pipeline kept ---------- every contact captured and followed up;
nothing lapses.
- Response time: every distributor inquiry answered within 48 hours,
quote-ready.
- Order accuracy: zero mis-shipped orders or missed in-hand dates.
- CRM hygiene: one master list, current and clean.
(Shared goal, for context: help grow the channel back toward its peak and
beyond — this is a team goal, not your solo bar.)

COMPENSATION
- Base: $1,000-$1,400/month (depending on experience).
- Plus an uncapped performance bonus tied to the channel you help
rebuild — strong performers comfortably reach over ~$2,000/month.
- Plus paid time off, a health stipend, and a remote-first, async
culture.
This is a bet-on-yourself seat: the comp follows the performance. If
you're confident you can keep this channel running and help it grow, the
upside is yours.

HOW TO APPLY
Start your application with the word GIFTING, and in three sentences tell
us about a time you caught a problem before it blew up — something no one
asked you to look for. Then attach your current resume. Applications that
skip the GIFTING opener won't be read — it's how we see, before we ever
meet, whether you read carefully and own problems instead of waiting to
be handed them.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We're a remote-first team. We run on weekly syncs, regular 1:1s, and quarterly goal-setting. We lead before we're asked. We think from the customer's perspective. We grow with intention. We think deeply before we act. If that's how you work too, we'd love to meet you.
