About Mrs. P Stitches

Mrs. P Stitches is a premium bridal alterations and customization atelier based in Toronto, Canada.

We specialize in transforming wedding gowns through expert alterations, couture craftsmanship, and personalized design. Every gown we work on is unique, and every bride deserves an exceptional experience from her first inquiry to her final fitting.

We're not a traditional alterations shop. We are a luxury, hospitality-driven bridal atelier built on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and outstanding client care. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an Operations & Marketing Assistant to help support our team and enhance the experience we provide to every bride.

About the Role

This is a dynamic role that combines client support, operations, and marketing assistance.

You'll work closely with our front-of-house team to keep daily operations running smoothly while supporting our marketing initiatives under the direction of our Social Media Manager.

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying organized, communicating with clients, learning new systems, and taking pride in helping a growing business succeed.

Responsibilities
Client Experience & Operations
Prepare bridal alterations and customization quotes
Book consultations and fitting appointments
Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups
Respond to client inquiries through email and messaging platforms
Maintain accurate client records and CRM
Track production progress and communicate updates between teams
Coordinate daily administrative tasks to support front-of-house operations
Assist with workflow organization and operational projects
Help ensure every bride receives a smooth, premium client experience
Marketing Support (Under the Direction of Our Social Media Manager)

You'll help execute marketing initiatives while working under the guidance of our Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with content creation
Designing graphics in Canva
Editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok
Scheduling social media content
Organizing and maintaining our content library
Assisting with email marketing campaigns
Supporting promotional campaigns and seasonal launches
Collecting and organizing client photos, videos, and testimonials
Assisting with website updates and other marketing projects as needed

Please note: This is an execution and support role. Our Social Media Manager will provide the overall marketing strategy and creative direction.

Schedule

This position will initially provide weekend morning coverage.

Working Hours (Toronto / Eastern Time):

Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

You'll have approximately one hour of overlap each day with our evening Operations Assistant to ensure a smooth handoff of client communications, appointments, and operational updates.

As our business grows, there will be opportunities to take on additional weekday hours based on your performance and business needs.

Our goal is for this position to transition into a full-time role by January, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with a growing premium bridal brand.

Creative with an eye for design and presentation
Reliable, accountable, and eager to grow
Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy

You enjoy creating order, solving problems, and helping people feel taken care of.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience in any of the following is considered a STRONG asset:

*Alterations or tailoring
*Sewing or garment construction
Bridal industry
Fashion or apparel
Wedding industry
Luxury retail or hospitality

Even a basic understanding of alterations terminology will help you succeed in this role.

Preferred Software Experience

Experience with any of the following is an asset:

Canva
CapCut
Meta Business Suite
Google Workspace
Microsoft Office
ChatGPT or other AI tools
Mailchimp or Klaviyo
Notion
Airtable
Project management software
