We run a portfolio of direct-response ecommerce brands, a restaurant and a real estate lead-generation business.
We’re hiring one person to be the operational backbone across all of it, working directly with the owner.
This is not a task-taking role.
We have a local assistant for physical work and AI tools for grunt work. What we need is judgment — someone who takes a goal, figures out the steps, and drives it to done.
What you’ll do
• Own projects end to end, from a one-line goal to a finished result
• Manage inbox, calendar, and follow-ups across multiple businesses
• Track orders, customer escalations, and vendor communication
• Build weekly reporting: revenue, ad spend, order volume
• Write and maintain SOPs as you learn each process
• Use AI tools daily — drafting, research, summarizing, analysis
• Coordinate with our local assistant on anything physical
What we need
• 2+ years running projects with deadlines and moving parts — not just executing task lists
• Working fluency with AI tools. You’ll tell us specifically what you use them for
• Strong written English. You’ll send
• Comfortable in Shopify, Google Workspace, and Slack
• You tell us when you think we’re wrong. If an instruction doesn’t make sense, we want to hear it before you execute it, not after
• Available for a live 60 minute call three mornings per week, time woukd range between 8-11 am Pacific
What we offer
• $15-17/hr to start, 15-20 hrs/week, with a written review and raise at 90 days
• Direct access to the owner — no layers, no bureaucracy
• Real growth path. As you take on more, the role and pay grow with it
• Long-term stable work. Our last assistant was with us two years
To apply, send a short message that answers three things:
1. Describe a project you ran start to finish. What went wrong, and what did you do about it?
2. Name one AI tool you use weekly and exactly how you use it
3. Tell us about a time you disagreed with your boss. What happened?
4. Tell us about how you spend your free time.
5. Include links to your resume.
