ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Junior Virtual Chief of Staff to work directly with the Founder and CEO of a growing group of businesses across healthcare, staffing, cleaning and business education.
This is more than a traditional administrative position. You will help turn ideas and decisions into organised plans, coordinate important projects, conduct research and ensure priorities progress without continuous supervision.
The successful candidate will be resourceful, analytical and confident enough to identify problems, recommend solutions and respectfully challenge unclear priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Convert the CEO’s ideas and instructions into clear action plans.
Manage strategic priorities, projects, deadlines and follow-ups.
Prepare concise daily and weekly executive briefings.
Conduct business, market, competitor and opportunity research.
Draft professional
Coordinate communication between the CEO, staff and external contacts.
Prepare meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed.
Help evaluate new opportunities before they reach the CEO.
Support the development of systems, procedures and performance measures.
Protect the CEO’s time by filtering routine matters and highlighting important decisions.
Use AI and digital tools to improve research, communication and productivity.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Outstanding organisation and project coordination.
Ability to research information and produce concise recommendations.
High initiative, discretion and professional judgement.
Confidence working directly with a busy CEO.
Ability to learn quickly and work across different industries.
Competence with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and AI tools.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Previous experience supporting a founder, director or senior executive.
Background in executive assistance, project management, consulting or business analysis.
Experience working with UK-based organisations.
Familiarity with healthcare, staffing, education or service businesses.
Experience using CRM and project-management systems.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
