We’re an AI-forward SaaS and technology company looking for a highly experienced EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATIONS & OPERATIONS LEAD to work directly with company leadership.
This is a senior role for someone who has spent years working closely with founders, executives, or leadership teams and knows how to operate without being managed closely.
You will have visibility across leadership conversations, decisions, priorities, and issues as they come up. Your job is to understand what is going on, d
A lot of the work happens across Slack, email, meetings, and ongoing team conversations. We need someone who can follow the context, spot what matters, get missing information, make judgment calls, and figure out what needs to happen next.
This is not a role for someone who waits to be assigned every task. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and acts.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Stay on top of Slack, email, executive correspondence, requests, and ongoing discussions.
- D
- Understand the context behind requests rather than simply passing messages along.
- Bring important matters to leadership with the background and information they need to make a decision.
- Handle issues independently when they do not require leadership involvement.
- Catch unanswered messages, missing information, unclear ownership, and stalled next steps before they become bigger problems.
- Keep track of decisions, requests, commitments, and follow-ups through completion.
- Pull together information from different conversations and provide clear summaries.
- Respond, coordinate, and follow up on behalf of leadership when appropriate.
- Work directly with team members, clients, partners, and other stakeholders to get answers and move matters forward.
- Keep track of what leadership is waiting on, expecting from others, or needs to act on.
- Prepare leadership for meetings, decisions, and time-sensitive conversations.
- Draft executive correspondence and responses when needed.
- Manage scheduling, meetings, documentation, and other executive support responsibilities as part of the role.
- Step into unclear situations, figure out what happened, and determine what should happen next.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- We are looking for someone whose experience goes beyond task-based executive support.
- You have worked closely enough with senior leaders to understand what they need to know, what they do not need pulled into, and when something requires their attention.
- You are comfortable making decisions within your scope.
- When something is unclear, you investigate before asking for help. You gather context, speak to the right people, find the missing information, and work toward a solution.
- You do not forward every problem upward.
- You do not need someone to remind you that a message has gone unanswered, a follow-up is overdue, or a commitment has not been completed.
- You pay attention to what is happening around you and act before leadership has to ask.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience working directly with founders, C-suite executives, or senior leadership.
- Strong experience in senior executive support, executive operations, founder support, Chief of Staff support, business operations, or a similar role.
- Excellent judgment around urgency, confidentiality, priority, and escalation.
- Strong written communication and comprehension.
- The ability to understand the meaning and context behind conversations, not just the individual messages.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to figure things out without step-by-step direction.
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage a high volume of information without losing track of what matters.
- Strong awareness of changing priorities and developing issues.
- Highly proficient with Slack and comfortable working in a communication-heavy, asynchronous environment.

- Consistently responsive, dependable, discreet, and organized.
- The application code is Alden.
