We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Philippines-based Family Education & Operations Coordinator to help manage the academic schedules, school communications, and educational needs of three children attending a private international school in Houston, Texas.
This is a long-term remote position for someone who is exceptionally responsible, sharp, warm with children, and confident communicating with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor school
Maintain a separate academic calendar and task list for each child.
Track assignments, assessments, school projects, forms, permission slips, interviews, conferences, and important deadlines.
Schedule and coordinate parent-teacher conferences and other school meetings.
Prepare brief summaries before meetings so the parent understands the important topics, concerns, and decisions required.
Attend selected virtual school meetings when authorized and take detailed notes.
Draft professional
Follow up with teachers regarding assignments, academic concerns, missing information, or student support.
Communicate with the children regularly regarding school responsibilities, upcoming deadlines, and areas where they may need assistance.
Monitor academic progress and immediately flag important concerns.
Coordinate tutors, extracurricular activities, camps, school events, registrations, and related family logistics.
Keep all school documents, reports, forms, and communications organized.
Provide a concise weekly report showing:
What happened that week
Upcoming deadlines and events
Academic concerns
Items requiring the parent’s decision
Follow-ups still in progress
Anticipate issues and deadlines instead of waiting to be reminded.

Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:
International Baccalaureate education, including PYP, MYP, or DP
British or international school systems
Private school administration
Academic advising or student support
Teaching, tutoring, or school counseling
Executive assistance
Family or household operations
Project management
Technical Requirements
Reliable computer
Stable high-speed internet connection
Quiet and professional workspace
Strong knowledge of Google Calendar, Google Drive, Gmail, spreadsheets, and task-management systems
Ability to attend occasional virtual meetings during Houston business hours
Willingness to maintain partial schedule overlap with Central Time
