About us
We are a skincare brand serving women with acne-prone, barrier-compromised skin. We've been doing this for over fifteen years long before holistic skincare was a category anyone was chasing. Our clients don't find us through ads. They find us because someone they trust told them we were the ones who finally listened.
We're entering a new chapter. Our founder is stepping forward publicly as the lead content creator for the brand and the work ahead is connecting the woman who built this to the women it was built for.
We are a high-performance team. The pace is real and the standards are high but so is the care. We communicate directly, we don't let people struggle in silence, and we take genuine pride in what leaves our hands.
What this role is
We're hiring an assistant with strong social media skills — not a social media manager. The distinction matters, so here it is plainly:
A social media manager owns a channel. This role owns the founder's throughput. Content is a large part of the work, but it isn't the whole of it. You're the person who takes what's in her head at 9am and has it live, correct, and on-brand by end of day. Must be an independent thinker.
Skill is required. Execution is the differentiator.
You will work in close, daily contact with the founder. Direction will change and sometimes mid-task. That isn't disorganization; it's what building a public brand looks like from the inside. The right person finds that energizing. The wrong person finds it exhausting, and we'd rather you know that now. We are growing the brand not maintaining it. This is an exciting role for someone who loves to get things done.
What you'll own
Execution and operations
- A high daily task load, consistently cleared — not carried forward
- Asana and Notion as living systems: every task updated as it moves, with enough written context that the founder never has to ask where something stands
- End-of-day reports, every day, without being asked. Done / in progress / blocked / needs a decision from the founder.
- Rapid pivots as priorities shift, with the judgment to flag when a pivot creates a conflict rather than silently dropping the previous thing
Content and brand
- Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube are our main platforms (this may expand) You will be responsible for calendar planning, scheduling, publishing
- Presenting plan to founder weekly during meetings
- Short-form video editing with strong hooks and retention-aware pacing
- Feminine, editorial-leaning graphics with a cohesive aesthetic across platforms
- Captions in the founder's voice, not a generic brand voice
- Repurposing single pieces of content into multiple formats across channels
- Community management — warm, professional, on-brand replies to comments and DMs
- Basic performance tracking: what worked, what didn't, what you'd do differently
Who we're looking for
- Highly adaptable. Change is the job. You reorganize around it without needing to be settled first.
- A strong communicator. You over-communicate rather than going quiet. Silence is the only real failure mode here.
- Genuinely organized. Nothing falls through, and nothing lives only in your head.
- Fast and finished. You'd rather ship something 90% right today and refine it than sit on something 100% right next week.
- Available USA EST hours. This is non-negotiable — the role requires real-time responsiveness.
- An eye for feminine luxury. Soft but powerful. Editorial. Elevated without being cold.
- An understanding of storytelling.
- Comfortable with: CapCut Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere or Final Cut a plus)
Bonus if you
- Have worked with beauty, skincare, wellness, or feminine lifestyle brands
- Understand emotional storytelling and how women actually make skincare decisions
- Have supported a founder through a public-facing launch or rebrand

8. Any awards or recognition you've received, and what you're doing with that now.
9. A time direction changed on you mid-task. What did you do?
10. What beauty brands or creators you find visually excellent, and what makes content feel luxurious rather than expensive.
