ABOUT US
We're a UK investment company led by a founder with a growing public profile — author, investor, active on LinkedIn. The brand drives the business: it's how deals, press, and opportunities find us. Your job is to run the machine behind it so the founder only does the things only he can do.
You'll report directly to the founder. Small team, fast-moving, long-term role — we want someone who grows with us over years, not months.
THE ROLE
One person, three hats:
1. LinkedIn & Personal Brand (50%)
Own the content calendar: schedule posts from the founder's drafts and voice notes, keep the pipeline full
Repurpose content: turn long posts into shorter ones, pull quotes into Canva graphics (to our brand guidelines — templates provided)
Manage the inbox: triage DMs and connection requests daily, flag high-value conversations, draft replies for approval
Engagement: monitor comments on our posts and draft responses; track target accounts we should be engaging with
Report weekly: followers, impressions, top posts, DM conversations opened
2. PR & Visibility (20%)
Monitor Qwoted (and similar journalist-request platforms) daily for relevant opportunities
Draft pitches in the founder's voice for his approval — speed matters, these expire fast
Track placements and maintain an up-to-date press kit and bio
3. Executive Assistant (30%)
Morning briefing prepared before the UK day starts (you're 7 hours ahead — use it)
Diary management: protect focus blocks, schedule calls, chase confirmations
Track open commitments — his and yours — and chase them until closed
End-of-day report: what shipped, what's stuck, what needs a decision
Ad-hoc research and document prep
The golden rule: you draft, he approves. Nothing is published or sent in the founder's name without his sign-off. As trust builds, you'll earn autonomy — but his voice is the asset, and we protect it.
MUST-HAVES
2+ years managing LinkedIn or social presence for a founder, executive, or personal brand — with results you can show
Exceptional written English. You'll be drafting in a UK founder's voice for an audience of UK business owners — samples will be required and tested
Canva proficiency (working to an existing brand guide)
Scheduling/analytics tools: Taplio, Hypefury, Buffer, Shield, or similar
Rock-solid discretion — you'll see deals, numbers, and conversations that stay private
Self-managing: you flag problems with a proposed fix, not just the problem
Stable internet, backup power/connection, quiet workspace
NICE-TO-HAVES
Qwoted, HARO/Connectively, or Featured pitching experience
Newsletter tools (Beehiiv, Substack, Mailchimp)
Basic video editing (CapCut/Descript) for repurposing
Zapier/Make/n8n
Experience supporting an executive's calendar and inbox
HOURS
Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day. Mostly your daytime (PH), but your shift must run until at least 6:00 PM Philippine time so we get a live handover during the UK morning. Weekends are yours.
PAY & BENEFITS
13th month pay
Paid Philippine public holidays + paid leave after probation
Performance review at 6 months with a raise path
Stable, long-term role with one employer
HOW TO APPLY
Attention to detail and writing ability ARE the job. So:
Put the word SIGNAL as the first word of your application.
Answer these three questions (short answers, no essays):
Link to a LinkedIn account or personal brand you've managed — or describe what you did and the results, with numbers.
Writing test: a business owner comments on one of our posts: "Interesting, but I'd never sell my company to an investor." Write the 2–3 sentence reply you'd draft for the founder.
What time (PH) would you prefer to start and finish?
Include a 2-minute Loom or video introducing yourself in English — talk about brands and executives you've supported, not your life story.
Attach your CV and 2–3 writing samples (posts, DMs, or pitches you've written for someone else).
