I'm a YouTube creator (587K subs, growing toward 1M) making content about social confidence and human connection. I film street-style POV videos, social experiments, and travel content around the world. I'm looking for someone to run the behind-the-scenes operations so I can focus 100% on filming, editing oversight, reviewing, and creative decisions.
You'll be the person keeping the whole operation moving. This is NOT a basic admin VA role.
What you'll own:
1. Production Support
Research locations, experiences, and content concepts that fit my channel. Present weekly options for me to choose from, then handle logistics (travel timing, scheduling, setup). Build out my task schedule based on what the team needs fro
2. Social Media Management
Run daily story posting, reply to comments, manage DMs and sponsorship/collab outreach — all without me touching the accounts day to day. Send a weekly brief: what got done, what worked, what to improve, next week's action items.
3. Systems & Pipeline
Keep our existing tools (Trello, Google Drive, Slack, WhatsApp) moving and bottleneck-free. When something stalls, you're the one chasing it down and unblocking it.
4. Team Communication
Be the connective tissue between the rest of the team and myself. Clear, proactive communication is one of the most important parts of this role — checking in with editors and other contractors, surfacing issues before they become delays, and making sure I'm never the bottleneck for information moving between people.
5. Other Tasks
This role is a generalist role at its core. One-off tasks will come up that don't fit neatly into the categories above, and you'll be the person I hand those to so I can stay focused on my own schedule. You should be comfortable being flexible across a wide range of work while still executing with precision and consistency.
You're a strong fit if you:
- Communicate clearly and proactively (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT)
- Can be flexible with timezone adjustments due to my travels
- Have real experience in social media management and/or executive/VA work
- Have excellent spoken and written English
- Can ideate and understand social media/content research
- Can look at existing systems and identify ways to improve them
- Can think independently — I want to be presented with options, not micromanage every decision
- Communicate clearly and proactively (this matters more than almost anything else)
- Move with speed and precision — fast without sacrificing quality
- Are comfortable with fast-changing priorities and unconventional content
- Are a fast learner
Application Process:
To apply, submit a Loom video directly letting us know:
- Who you are
- Your experience in this role or a similar one
- Why you think you're a great fit
- And answer this: If you had to build a system for a full-time content creator to match the goals listed in this application, what's an example of what you would build, and how would you have it run?
This application will stay open for 1-2 weeks. After that, I'll begin reaching out to the highest-quality candidates to move into Phase 1 of the trial period.
