**Why you will love this role**
The Client is a serial entrepreneur, and spends his time between triathlon training, travel, research and development. Based in Australia, his various business interests in South-East Asia have ranged from real estate, blockchain, software and BPO staffing. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with and become part of the Client’s world in Australia and South-East Asia. He has various personal interests that you will oversee. Aside from the usual professional and personal assistance duties, you will support and accompany the Client during South-East Asia trips.
**The right person for the role**
This is not your traditional PA role and personality is paramount. The role very much has a “seat at the table” as the Client’s right-hand person and needs to be someone he can trust to not only get the job done, but also to provide guidance and bounce ideas off. The roles success relies heavily on the ability to retain, develop, and nurture strong relationships at all levels.
If you love structure, problem-solving, and delivering top-level support with discretion, this role is for you.
**You will need to:
• Quickly build trust and rapport with the Client
• Have a flexible personal life that allows being on call and available for travel
• Have exceptional written and verbal skills to connect with stakeholders from all walks of life
• Strong communication and discretion (confidentiality is key)
• Have a high attention to detail, nothing gets past you
• Bring a highly collaborative approach to dealings with the Client, who enjoys being involved in the “day to day” of all businesses
• Enjoy variety as no two days are ever the same, and plans can pivot quickly
• Have a strong sense of self, and be able to provide sound counsel and guidance when required
• Have the ability to read between the lines and be proactive
• Know what to do without being told and prepared to make mistakes
• Be able to interact effectively both socially and professionally
• Bring good banter and have a high fun factor
Importantly, we are looking for someone who is in it for the long haul and doesn’t necessarily see this exciting role as a stepping stone to something else – the role is a long-term position with plenty of room to grow.
