The EA is the strategic backbone and operations engine for the BookBully movement. Their role goes beyond scheduling
-building systems
- managing workflows
-creating order so I can focus on growth, creative direction, and being the face of BookBully.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
• Own the master calendar: content deadlines, book club meetings, merch drops, partnerships, and events.
• Coordinate communication across your creative team (video editor, content creator, social media manager) to keep everyone on track.
• Build and maintain SOPs (standard operating procedures) for repeatable processes: content publishing, book club rollouts, merch fulfillment.
2. Global Book Club Infrastructure
• Develop and maintain a Chapter Leader database (contacts, cities, onboarding status).
• Help design the Chapter Leader starter kit (guidelines, branding, book pick templates).
• Track chapter growth, engagement, and metrics for reporting.
• Schedule and facilitate global leader check-ins (monthly/quarterly).
3. Revenue Stream Support
• Coordinate with publishing partners, bookstores, or affiliate networks for book review monetization.
• Manage logistics for merchandising: liaising with suppliers, ensuring fulfillment timelines, tracking inventory.
• Research and prepare briefs on new revenue opportunities: sponsorships, speaking gigs, literacy campaigns.
4. Engagement Beyond Social Media
• Oversee the setup and moderation of BookBully
• Coordinate offline activations: reading parties, city meetups, book fairs.
• Track and compile feedback from the community to refine events and content.
5. Founder Support (You)
• Handle daily admin:
• Prepare briefing docs before external meetings (background research, talking points).
• Keep you aligned with long-term milestones (BookBully clubs, global expansion, partnerships).
Prerequisites:
1. Fluent in English
2. Past experience working with US-based companies
3. No other work obligations
4. Consistent, reliable internet access
5. Willingness to work PST hours
