My first job was as a Web developer in PHP. I only had this job for 2 months because I was given a job offer to work abroad in Brunei Darussalam as an IT Support. I took the new job and this lead me to an even more diverse working environment. Aside from being a programmer for the company, I was also part of a liaison team for our software partners in Singapore and Malaysia for our local clients then in Brunei. I constantly meet up with clients to talk about system requirements and perform product demos, system installations, maintenance, and the like. Our clients in Brunei are composed mostly of government agencies like the Ministry of Education and Finance.
I went back to the Philippines and worked for more than a year as a Web developer for a local branch of a US based IT firm. I was part of a team that handles joomla, codeigniter and wordpress projects. I have experience in using a couple of project management tools for communication namely basecamphq, unfuddle and active colab.
I worked for various individuals and internet companies for almost 3 years. I ended up working as a full-time Web Developer for an Internet Marketing company. I also teached part-time at the University of the Immaculate Conception for the Information Technology Department.
