JOB OVERVIEW

i, we are ---------- — an Australian company helping
small businesses use AI to save time. We are building a YouTube
channel and need a great video editor to work with us long term.

PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO BEFORE APPLYING:
----------

This is the style we want. If you can edit like this, we want
to hear from you.

---

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

We will send you:
- Talking head footage of our presenter
- A script with timestamps telling you exactly when to
cut to something visual
- Our logo and brand files
- A photo for the thumbnail
- A music track

You will edit it into a finished YouTube video like the
reference above.

---

HERE IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED

STEP 1 — EDIT THE TALKING HEAD
- Cut out all pauses, ums, ahs and silences
- Make the cuts feel tight and energetic
- Add a small zoom in and out (3-5%) alternating
on each cut
- Make the colour look cool, clean and professional

STEP 2 — ADD CUTAWAY VISUALS
At certain points in the script we need to cut away
from the presenter and show something visual.
You can do this two ways — use whichever you are
best at:
- Simple animations showing the idea being discussed
- Clean visual mockups showing what is on screen
Make them look modern, minimal and professional.
Zoom in slowly on important parts.
Add a visible circle around the cursor when clicking.

STEP 3 — ADD TEXT ON SCREEN
When the presenter says something important, add bold
white text on the lower part of the screen.
Keep it on screen for 2-3 seconds then fade it out.

STEP 4 — ADD INTRO AND OUTRO
Start with a 3 second logo card on a dark background.
End with a 20 second screen showing subscribe button
and ----------

STEP 5 — ADD MUSIC
Add background music that is low volume and modern.
It should not be louder than the presenter's voice.

STEP 6 — MAKE THE THUMBNAIL
Size: 1280 x 720 pixels
- Dark background
- Photo of presenter on the right side
- Bold white text on the left side (maximum 6 words)
- One important word in red or yellow
- ---------- in small text at the bottom
I will tell you what words to use for each video.

---

WHAT YOU SEND BACK TO US
- Final video file (MP4, 1080p or better)
- Thumbnail image (JPG and PNG)
- Your project file so we can make small changes
if needed

---

HOW MUCH WORK IS THERE
We need 2-4 videos per month to start.
We also need 2-3 short videos (under 60 seconds,
vertical format) cut from each long video.
If things go well we will increase to more videos
each month.
This is a long term role for the right person.

---

HOW TO APPLY
Please send me:
1. A link to a video you have edited that is similar
— talking head style with animations or screen
recordings. Tech or business topic preferred.
2. How much you charge per long video (10-16 minutes)
3. How much you charge per Short video (under 60 seconds)
4. How many days you need to finish one video
5. Tell me one thing you noticed about the reference
video that you could recreate

If you do not send a portfolio link we will not be
able to reply.

We look forward to hearing from you.
