# Remote Digital Marketing & Website Assistant

**Position:** Remote Digital Marketing & Website Assistant
**Type:** Part-Time / Full-Time
**Location:** Remote
**Start:** Immediately
**Pay:** $2/hour to start during the first month, with the opportunity for a raise based on performance and reliability
**Work Method:** Work is performed through a secure remote connection to our computer.

## About the Role

We are looking for a **serious, reliable, long-term remote assistant** who can handle a variety of website, SEO, Google Business Profile, AI, and digital marketing tasks.

This is not just a basic administrative position. We are looking for someone who is **hands-on, willing to learn, able to follow instructions, and capable of taking responsibility for completing tasks correctly and on time.**

You will work directly through a remote connection to our computer and will be trained on our systems and workflow.

## Main Responsibilities

### Website Development & Management

* Build and design websites from scratch using Wix and/or WordPress
* Create and edit website pages, layouts, menus, forms, and content
* Update existing websites and fix basic website issues
* Add images, text, services, products, and other website content
* Improve website appearance, usability, and mobile responsiveness
* Follow instructions and recreate website designs based on examples

### SEO

* Perform on-page SEO
* Research and update keywords
* Write and optimize titles and meta descriptions
* Optimize website content and headings
* Perform basic SEO audits and identify issues
* Help improve website rankings and visibility
* Conduct competitor and keyword research

### Google Business Profile (GMB)

* Create, optimize, and maintain Google Business Profiles
* Update business information, services, descriptions, photos, and posts
* Perform local SEO tasks
* Research local keywords and competitors
* Help improve Google Business Profile visibility and rankings
* Follow our procedures for managing and optimizing profiles

### AI Tools

* Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other AI platforms to speed up daily work
* Use AI for content creation, research, SEO, ideas, and website development
* Learn new AI tools and workflows as needed
* Verify and improve AI-generated content before using it
* Become comfortable using AI as part of everyday work

### Customer & Administrative Support

* Make and receive customer phone calls when required
* Answer customer questions professionally
* Communicate with customers and the team in fluent English
* Perform online research
* Complete administrative and organizational tasks
* Follow detailed instructions and complete assigned jobs independently

## Requirements

* **Fluent English – written and spoken**
* Good communication skills
* Basic to intermediate experience with Wix and/or WordPress
* Understanding of basic SEO and local SEO
* Ability to learn Google Business Profile management
* Comfortable using AI tools
* Willingness to learn website design and development
* Reliable internet connection
* Available consistently during agreed working hours
* Able to work through a remote connection to our computer
* Responsible, honest, organized, and detail-oriented
* Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines
* Looking for **long-term work**, not a short-term job

## Strongly Preferred
