We are building out our content team and need a Social Content Designer who can create sharp, premium looking assets that actually grab attention.
This role is focused on static and support design, not full video editing.
You will be responsible for creating short form video graphics, carousel posts, thumbnails, post covers, and other social content assets that match our brand standards and help content perform.
You will work alongside our Video Editor and report directly to the founder.
This is a long term role for someone who wants to grow with the company. We are not looking for one off freelance help.
What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll be designing content for a US based credit repair, lender readiness, and business funding brand.
Our audience is made up of entrepreneurs, business owners, and aspiring business owners who want access to capital, better approvals, and stronger financial leverage, but whose personal credit profile is currently too weak or too underbuilt to support that.
That means the content needs to feel credible, sharp, premium, and attention grabbing without feeling flashy, gimmicky, or cheap.
If your design style leans generic, over templated, or looks like standard Canva content, this is probably not the right fit.
What You Will Be Doing
Designing short form video graphics that overlay onto edited videos
Creating Instagram carousel posts, usually 5 to 8 slides, that teach, build trust, and convert
Building thumbnails and post covers for our trust page and personal brand page
Creating static social content that stops attention quickly and still feels premium
Maintaining brand consistency across every asset using our brand SOP
Turning rough content ideas or briefs into clean, finished design assets
Working with the founder and editor to keep content output sharp and consistent
What We Need From You
At least 2 years of graphic design experience, preferably in social media, branding, education, finance, or offer based businesses
A strong portfolio that shows clean, modern, premium design work
No portfolio = no review
Proficiency in Canva, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Suite
Strong typography, layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy
Ability to create content that feels designed for retention, not just decoration
Ability to follow detailed brand guidelines without drifting
Strong written English communication
Reliable internet and equipment
Availability for 23 to 30 hours per week
Bonus Points
Experience designing for credit, finance, business coaching, or personal brand businesses
Experience working with US based founders or teams
Experience creating educational carousel content
Experience creating thumbnails, trust building content, and attention grabbing post covers

This role is best for a designer who understands how to make static content feel intentional, premium, and built to perform.
You are probably a fit if:
You know how to make someone stop scrolling in one slide
You understand the difference between clean design and high performing design
You can work within a brand without making every post look the same
You do not need constant hand holding once direction is clear
You care about details like spacing, hierarchy, readability, and pacing across slides

You rely heavily on templates
You struggle to follow brand direction
You need repeated reminders to finish work
Your work looks decent but does not grab attention
