Remote | Part-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

Hello, I’m looking for a talented short-form video editor to help grow a documentary YouTube channel focused on culture, adventure, photography, and storytelling around the world.

The channel features stories and experiences from places such as Colombia, Cuba, India, Mexico, Dagestan, and beyond.

We have hundreds of hours of documentary footage and will be publishing daily Shorts, so there is no shortage of content to work with.

Your Mission
Create Shorts that get views.

You’ll be turning documentary footage, behind-the-scenes content, photography adventures, interviews, and travel experiences into highly engaging YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikToks.

This is not a simple “clip and caption” role.

I’m looking for someone who understands:
· Hooks
· Retention
· Curiosity
· Storytelling
· Viewer Psychology

Views are our #1 priority.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Edit 7+ Shorts per week
· Create strong hooks in the first 1–2 seconds
· Find compelling ---------- nts from longer videos
· Add captions and sound design
· Improve pacing and retention
· Deliver platform-ready exports
· Suggest ideas for future Shorts
· Help identify ---------- nts with viral potential
