JOB OVERVIEW

I run a small, established SEO agency for local businesses in Australia, and I'm looking for someone with a sharp eye to join me on a project basis to start, with a clear path to something long-term for the right person.

THE ROLE

Our content process is heavily AI-assisted. That means the role isn't writing from a blank page, it's quality control: taking AI-generated content and making it genuinely client-ready.

Here's the core of it: your job is to make everything perfect before it reaches me. I'm the final glance, not the proofreader. By the time work lands on my desk, it should already be right, polished, accurate, client-ready. Nothing obviously off, nothing half-checked.

Day to day, that means:

- Proofreading and editing AI-written content to a high standard
- Tailoring content so it actually fits each client, not just generic output 9You'll be responsible for intimately understanding each business we work with and tailor content for them)
- Checking SEO keyword inclusions read naturally and aren't forced or janky
- Preparing client-facing report documents that require careful, accurate editing
- Some Google business Profile work

This is detail work, and the detail is the deliverable. The single most important trait is a keen eye: catching the things that are obviously off and self-checking your own work before you hand it over, every time.

WHO THIS IS FOR

- You have a background in copywriting and understand what good SEO-optimised content looks like
- You're comfortable using AI tools day to day (we use Claude heavily, including Claude skills, so genuine confidence here matters)
- You're tech-comfortable and can follow a process without needing hand-holding on every step
- You work autonomously. I hire people because they're skilled enough to do the work on their own. We have training and SOPs for exactly that reason.
- You know when to reach out if something's unclear, rather than handing in work that misses the mark

THE SETUP

- Fully remote, with genuine freedom over when you work. Time is tracked, but you're not clocking in and out to set hours. It's self-paced
- A lot of trust is placed on you to do high-quality work independently
- This starts as a single project and will likely be intensive up front. If it goes well, I'll be inviting you to stay on, first part-time, then into a well-paid full-time position

If you're someone looking to prove yourself and earn a great long-term role, this is that opportunity.

TO APPLY

Send me your enquiry with a bit of your background and your availability.
