JOB OVERVIEW

Video Editor — Short-Form Social Content (Instagram & Facebook)

Yellow Marketing — a paid media agency operating in the health & wellness industry.

We're looking for a video editor to join our team long term, cutting short-form content (reels, stories) and ads for Instagram and Facebook. We provide the raw footage, direction and a brief for every video — we need a skilled editor to turn it around to a consistently high standard.

This is a long-term role with genuine room for growth and development for the right person. We're not after a quick one-off; we want to find the right editor to build a lasting working relationship with and invest in over time.

What you'll be editing
Reels and stories for Instagram and Facebook
Paid ad versions of the same content
Each video is 2 minutes max — most will be under 1 minute
Volume: 2–3 videos per day, roughly 4–6 hours of work daily
Correct formatting for each placement: 9:16 for reels/stories, plus 1:1 / 4:5 where needed for feed and ads
Clean cuts, pacing, on-brand captions/subtitles, simple motion/text where appropriate, and platform-ready exports

We supply the content, direction and brief for each video. Your job is to execute the edit to a high standard.

Turnaround & availability
We work across time zones, so delivery is next-cycle rather than strictly same-day. In practice: when we have the footage, assets and brief ready, we hand them over — often in our afternoon, which may be your evening. You edit during your working hours and deliver back so the finished videos are ready for us by the start of our next day.

What matters:
Reliable next-day delivery on the videos handed to you — consistent, on time, every time
Some daily overlap with our hours so we can hop on a call or touch base when needed
Ability to manage 2–3 videos per cycle within your own working day

We're British Summer Time and in Dubai; we'd like a few hours of overlap a few days per week.

Tools — please read carefully
You must edit using professional editing software:
Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro

We are not looking for editors who rely only on AI clipping tools such as Opus Clip, VEED, Submagic, or Captions (AI) to do the work. Using them lightly to speed up your workflow is fine — provided the final output still meets the high quality standard we expect and the craft is genuinely yours. If those tools are your workflow, this role isn't the right fit.

What we're looking for
Proven experience editing short-form video for Instagram and Facebook
Strong grasp of the different formats, aspect ratios and what performs on each platform
Strong English language ability — able to follow written briefs precisely and communicate clearly
Able to review and revise your own work to a high standard before delivery — we expect polished, self-checked videos, not first drafts
Good eye for pacing, captions and clean, on-brand finishing
Reliable, communicative and able to hit agreed deadlines consistently

The role
This is a long-term position with a brand that's actively growing. For the right editor, that means:
A steady, ongoing flow of work rather than scattered one-offs
Room to grow and develop as we expand — more responsibility and scope over time
A genuine working relationship where great work is recognised and rewarded
We'll provide brand assets — fonts, logos and colours. Raw footage will be shared via Dropbox. We retain full rights to all edited content, and an NDA may apply for unreleased material.

How to apply
Please reply / message with:
How many years of experience you have editing Instagram and Facebook videos
A link to your portfolio (ideally with short-form social examples)
Which editing software you use
Your requested hourly rate
Confirmation of your time zone and that you can deliver next-day with some daily overlap with our hours

If you don't have prior experience editing for these platforms, please don't apply.
