JOB OVERVIEW

ob Description

One-on-one online English speaking instruction (students are native Chinese speakers)

Focus on spoken conversation, pronunciation correction, and scenario-based practice

Adjust topics and difficulty according to student level, creating a relaxed classroom atmosphere that encourages students to speak up

Provide brief feedback after class

Compensation

1.5–3 USD / 25 minutes

Paid per lesson; the more you teach, the more you earn

Payment methods: PayPal / WeChat / Alipay

Payment cycle: Weekly settlement for the previous week's lesson fees

Probation period (1 week): 80% of the regular rate

Time Requirements

Able to provide at least 5 hours of fixed available teaching time per week

Must be able to accommodate scheduling in China Standard Time (Beijing Time)

Note: The Philippines and China are both in UTC+8, so there is no time difference

Accepting temporary substitute lessons: Yes

If you accept substitute lessons, you must confirm and be in class within 30 minutes of receiving notification

Job Requirements

Filipino nationality, native or near-native English proficiency

Clear accent, standard pronunciation, no obvious regional accent

At least 1 year of online English teaching experience, or approximately 300+ hours of online ESL teaching experience

A quiet, tidy, and well-lit teaching environment

Patient and skilled at encouraging introverted students to speak up

TEFL/TESOL certificate holders preferred

Those able to commit to long-term, stable cooperation preferred

Teaching Instructions

Teaching platform: Tencent Meeting

Teaching materials: Provided by the platform / provided by the teacher / mutually agreed upon

Lesson duration: 25 minutes
