JOB OVERVIEW

Type: Part-time (20 hrs/week) with strong potential to grow into full-time

Hours: Must work US business hours (US Central Time)

Rate: $5–7/hour depending on experience
About the role
I run a marketing agency (Lion Media) and I'm hiring a full-stack SEO specialist who lives at the intersection of traditional SEO and the new world of AI search. Ranking on Google still matters, but so does getting cited in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other answer engines. I need someone who understands both and can execute across the entire stack, not just one slice of it.
What you'll do

Technical SEO: site audits, crawlability, site speed, schema/structured data, indexation
On-page SEO: keyword research, content optimization, internal linking, metadata
Content SEO: content briefs, optimization for search intent, topical authority
Link building: outreach, digital PR, backlink acquisition
GEO / AEO (big focus): optimize content and entities to get surfaced and cited inside AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other generative engines; structure content for answer extraction

What I'm looking for

Genuine full-stack SEO experience, technical, on-page, content, AND link building (not just one)
Real, demonstrable understanding of AI search / GEO / AEO, not buzzwords
Comfortable with industry tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer, Screaming Frog, or similar)
Data-driven, organized, and able to work US hours
