JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing e-commerce company running Shopify-based dropshipping brands. We are looking for a Chargeback Specialist who can take ownership of our disputes and bring our chargeback ratio down and keep it there. This is a focused role for someone who knows the payment side of e-commerce and is sharp with details.

You will be the person who fights disputes, prevents them before they happen, and protects our payment accounts.

What you will be doing:

- Managing and responding to chargebacks and disputes across our payment processors
- Building strong evidence and representment cases to win disputes
- Bringing down our chargeback ratio and keeping it low
- Spotting patterns and root causes, then fixing the issues that cause disputes
- Working with customer service to resolve problems before they turn into chargebacks
- Keeping clear records and reporting on dispute outcomes
- Coordinating with the team through Slack

What we are looking for

- Experience handling chargebacks and disputes for an online store
- Familiarity with Shopify and payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, and similar)
- A proven track record of lowering chargeback ratios
- Strong customer service skills and a calm, professional tone with customers
- Sharp attention to detail and good written English for building dispute cases
- Someone who stays calm under pressure and focuses on the solution instead of the stress
- A team player who thinks along with the business and wants to grow with us
- IQ of 100 or above (recent test required)
