The Pitch

The channel is new and not yet monetized, so the budget is small. Here's what I can offer:

- $150 - $200/month for 120 mins of editing time MAXIMUM. Usually videos go 20-35 mins.
- 8.2% revenue share on AdSense income from every video you edit, paid monthly once the channel is monetized
- A rate increase when the channel reaches monetization.
- Consistent bonuses and relaxed Work life balance as long as performance goals are met
- Scripts and voiceover are done for you. I write every script, record the narration, and provide a source list and visual notes.
- Serious documentary work for your portfolio
- Creative input. Your ideas on style and pacing are welcome.

This is a good fit if you're building your skills and want to grow with a channel from the early stages.

What You'll Do
- Cut the voiceover into a well-paced edit with a strong hook
- Match visuals to the script using archival footage, historical photos, documents, and stock footage, and get the history right (correct era, correct place)
- Create simple animated maps, charts, and on-screen text. Clean and clear beats flashy; free tools like Google Earth Studio or Flourish are fine.
- Follow the script's visual and tonal cues, including sections marked for silence or no music
- Add music, sound effects, and captions
- Make thumbnails

What I'm Looking For

- Any editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut)
- Examples of longer edits, such as video essays, commentary, or documentaries. Personal projects count.
- Basic understanding of fair use and YouTube's content guidelines
- Comfort with serious and sensitive subjects: war, religion, Israel–Palestine, colonialism, and criticism of governments
- Reliability. Hitting a deadline a month matters more than fancy effects.
- Interest in history, politics, or the Middle East is a big plus
-Bonus: familiarity with Arabic or Urdu script, animated maps, or thumbnail design
