About Us
We're building a YouTube channel focused on business, marketing, entrepreneurship, real estate, and paid advertising. The goal is simple: create videos people actually watch from beginning to end.
We're looking for an editor who understands storytelling, pacing, and retention. This is not a basic editing role. We want someone who knows how to keep viewers engaged.
## What You'll Do
* Edit 10 to 30 minute YouTube videos.
* Cut dead space, filler, and anything that hurts retention.
* Add captions when they improve the viewing experience.
* Use zooms, punch-ins, motion graphics, B-roll, images, and sound effects naturally.
* Create strong hooks in the first 30 seconds.
* Maintain fast pacing without making videos feel overwhelming.
* Find copyright-safe B-roll and visuals when needed.
* Add graphics that help explain concepts.
* Follow our brand style and improve it over time.
* Deliver polished videos ready for upload.
## What We're Looking For
* Experience editing long-form YouTube content.
* Strong understanding of audience retention.
* Knows how to build tension, curiosity, and
* Comfortable editing talking-head videos.
* Experience using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
* Good English communication.
* Reliable and meets deadlines.
* Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
## Bonus Skills
* Experience editing business, marketing, or educational content.
* Can create custom motion graphics.
* Can design YouTube thumbnails.
* Understands YouTube analytics and audience retention graphs.
* Familiar with creators like Alex Hormozi, Iman Gadzzhi, Codie Sanchez, Ali Abdaal, or similar educational channels.
