JOB OVERVIEW

We are launching a new YouTube channel focused on nostalgic TV shows from the 2000s. The content format is long-form compilation videos such as:

Top 10 Funniest ---------- nts
Top 10 Saddest ---------- nts
Top 10 Savage ---------- nts
Top 10 Best Character ---------- nts

The videos will be around 10–15 minutes long and must be edited in a way that is engaging, fast-paced, and monetizable.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your responsibilities include:

• Editing long-form YouTube top10 videos (10–15 minutes)
• Sourcing the correct clips from the TV shows
• Cutting and structuring clips into engaging “Top 10 ---------- nts” videos
• Adding subtitles, zooms, sound effects, and transitions where needed
• Keeping pacing engaging for YouTube retention
• Delivering videos optimized for monetization

The final video should feel dynamic, entertaining, and binge-worthy, not just raw clips.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

You must:

• Have experience editing faceless YouTube content
• Be comfortable sourcing TV show clips yourself
• Understand YouTube monetization-safe editing techniques
• Be able to create engaging pacing (not slow compilation editing)
• Have strong English comprehension
• Deliver videos consistently

WHAT MONETIZABLE EDITING MEANS

We need editors who understand how to edit clips so they qualify as transformative content.

This includes things like:

• Adding commentary captions
• Using zooms and cuts
• Adding text overlays
• Editing clips in a way that creates a new narrative

This helps the videos remain YouTube monetization friendly.

VIDEO STRUCTURE

Each video will follow a structure like:

Intro (20–30 seconds)

Countdown format

10 ? 1 ---------- nts

Outro

Example titles:

Top 10 Funniest Sheldon ---------- nts
Top 10 Savage House ---------- nts
Top 10 Malcolm in the Middle Chaos ---------- nts

But any professional editing software is fine.

PAY

We are looking for a long-term editor.

Typical video length:
10–15 minutes

Payment can be:

Per video
or
Monthly retainer
