JOB OVERVIEW

What You’ll Do -
???? Video Editing (Primary)

Edit long-form YouTube episodes (10–20 minutes)

Create short-form clips for Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts

Add captions, text overlays, lower thirds, intro/outro

Do basic color correction and audio cleanup

Follow brand guidelines for pacing, tone, fonts, and colors

Organize footage and exports in Google Drive

???? Social Media Content (IG, FB, LinkedIn)

Repurpose long videos into multiple short clips

Schedule and post content on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Write simple, professional captions in clear English (we’ll provide brand voice guidance)

Coordinate thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and tags for YouTube

Help maintain a basic monthly content calendar

Track simple metrics (views, reach, and engagement) and summarize them

Update website pages using GoDaddy’s website builder (no coding required)

Embed YouTube episodes, add podcast links, and update blog/episode pages

Keep branding consistent (colors, fonts, spacing, layout)

Create and update simple landing pages for events, workshops, and lead magnets

Communicate through email, Slack, or similar tools

Follow clear briefs and meet agreed-upon deadlines

Be proactive about asking questions and suggesting improvements

Requirements

Proven experience editing YouTube videos (portfolio required)

Skilled in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Comfortable using Canva for simple graphics, thumbnails, and post assets

Experience posting and managing content on Instagram, Facebook, and ideally LinkedIn

Ability to learn and work inside a GoDaddy website builder (or other drag-and-drop builders)

Strong attention to detail in audio, visuals, and text

Reliable internet and consistent communication

Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with financial, podcast, or educational content

Familiarity with YouTube SEO and basic hashtag strategy

Prior work on LinkedIn business pages

Basic analytic reporting (screenshots + summary of what’s working)

Hours & Compensation

10–20 hours per week, depending on workload and your availability

Compensation: $4-$8 us dollars per hour depending on ability - targeting $5-$6 hour

Exact amount based on skill level, experience, and weekly hours

Potential for increase over time based on performance and consistency
