We're a small team of six making business and education content, and you'd be our first creative hire. That means you'll help shape how our content looks from day one. It's a relaxed, fun team to be part of, not a stiff corporate job.
We're looking for a video editor who wants a long term home, not a quick paid gig. Someone who wants to learn our style, grow with us, and really enjoy the work.
THE WORK (EACH MONTH)
• 4 long form YouTube videos
• 30 short form videos
You'll get a content brief for every piece, and we'll work very closely with you on all of it.
THE STYLE
The long form follows Iman Gadzhi's YouTube style. Formats include:
• 60/40 split screen, with a talking head in a chair on one side and an iPad board on the other
• Sitting at a desk, teaching from a mural board
• Other seated teaching formats along the same lines
This video is the standard we're aiming for in colour grading, motion graphics and pacing. Please watch it before you apply:

WHAT YOU NEED
• Real ability in motion graphics, not just templates.
• Strong colour grading.
• Taste. This one is huge for us. An eye for what looks good and an ear for good, current music. We'll shape the details together, but you need to bring the taste.
• Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve. If you only edit in CapCut, this won't be a fit.
• Very good English, written and spoken. You need to understand the context of what's being said, so the edit supports the point rather than just following timestamps.
• A real feel for pacing. When to speed up, when to let a moment breathe, and when to cut.
• An understanding of the marketing behind content, especially short form and vlogs: hooks, holding attention, and why one video gets watched to the end while another gets swiped away.
WHAT YOU GET
• ₱31,225 per month to start, part time.
• A clear path to full time. Our plan is to bring the right person on full time within 4 to 6 months, at ₱70,000 to ₱90,000 per month depending on your ability.
• Access to the Ultimate Editors course, so you keep improving.
• Help with software costs, so you're not paying for your own tools.
• A team that will support you, give you clear feedback and invest in you for the long term.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
• You want a long term role with one team, not a string of short term clients.
• You care about getting better at your craft and want to be pushed.
• You're happy to learn how we like things done and make that style your own.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us:
1. Links to 2 or 3 edits you're proudest of. At least one should show motion graphics and colour grading. Tell us exactly what you did on each one.
2. The software you use.
3. A few sentences on the reference video above: one thing it does really well, and how you'd approach recreating it. Please write this yourself, in your own words. We want to see your English, not a tool's.
4. How many hours a week you can give us right now, and what other work you currently have on.
Shortlisted editors will be asked to complete a short test edit.
Please include the word LIGHTHOUSE somewhere in your application.
