JOB OVERVIEW

I work with YouTube channels with 1M+ subscribers and am building a content production team for YouTube videos and short-form content. We are looking for creative people who care about storytelling and want to contribute their ideas.

YOUR ROLE
Turn raw footage into an engaging first edit for YouTube and short-form videos. Your focus is story, pacing, music and comedic timing. A separate motion graphics editor handles advanced animation and VFX.

YOU WILL RECEIVE
Scripts, editing notes, music, raw footage, B-roll and visual references.

YOU WILL
- Select strong takes and build a clear story sequence
- Remove dead space while keeping natural reactions and moments that matter
- Add B-roll, music, basic sound effects, zooms and transitions
- Create long-form edits and short-form clips
- Keep timelines organized for the motion graphics handoff
- Apply feedback and communicate clearly about deadlines

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Examples showing good pacing and storytelling, a strong understanding of spoken English and reliable communication. Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve preferred. Personal projects are welcome if they show relevant skills.

Our influences include Ryan Trahan, MrBeast, documentary storytelling and modern short-form video.

ROLE DETAILS
Full time, 40 hours per week. Advertised rate: $3 per hour.
