YouTube Video Editor (Long-Form + Shorts + Meta Ads) | Long-Term Opportunity
About Us
We’re Snaptique Photo Booths, one of Canada’s leading photo booth and experiential event companies based in Toronto, Ontario.
We’re investing heavily into content marketing and are building a long-ter
* YouTube videos
* Meta
* Instagram Reels
* TikToks
* Educational content
* Behind-the-scenes videos
* Product demonstrations
* Client success stories
We’re looking for a talented video editor who wants to grow with us long term—not just complete one or two projects.
What You’ll Be Editing
Our content will primarily consist of:
* Founder talking-head videos
* Educational YouTube videos (typically 5–10 minutes)
* Short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
* Meta advertising creatives
* Customer testimonials
* Behind-the-scenes footage
* Product showcases
Our goal is to create engaging, high-retention content that feels professional while remaining authentic.
What We Provide
You’ll receive everything needed for each project through a shared Google Drive folder, including:
* Raw camera footage
* B-roll
* Photos
* Logos
* Brand assets
* Fonts
* Music direction (when required)
* Any additional supporting media
Everything will be organized into project folders to keep the workflow simple.
Your Responsibilities
For each project, you’ll:
* Edit and assemble the final video
* Remove filler words, mistakes, and unnecessary pauses
* Improve pacing and viewer retention
* Add captions when appropriate
* Insert supporting B-roll and photos
* Add simple motion graphics and text animations
* Perform basic audio cleanup
* Apply basic colour correction where needed
* Export videos in the required formats for YouTube, Meta, Instagram, and TikTok
We’re looking for someone who understands storytelling and retention, not just someone who knows how to cut clips together.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience editing YouTube talking-head videos
* Understands viewer retention and pacing
* Speaks and writes English well
* Is reliable and communicates professionally
* Can take feedback and apply revisions
* Has a stable internet connection
* Is proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
Bonus if you’ve edited content for business owners, educators, or YouTube creators.
Communication & Availability
Our team is based in Toronto, Canada (Eastern Time).
We’re looking for someone who is generally available for communication until approximately 12:00 AM Philippine Time on weekdays. You won’t be working every minute during those hours, but we’d like a few hours of overlap for questions, revisions, and feedback.
Turnaround Time
Our typical expectations are:
* Long-form YouTube videos: 48 hours
* Revisions: Within 24 hours
* Rush projects: Occasionally required with advance notice
Compensation
This is project-based (piece work).
We pay per completed project, not by the hour.
If the relationship is a good fit, there will be consistent ongoing work.
Paid Trial Edit
Shortlisted applicants will complete a paid trial edit (500 PHP) using sample footage.
The trial helps us evaluate editing style, pacing, storytelling, and communication while respecting your time.
How to Apply
Please include:
1. Your portfolio (YouTube videos preferred)
2. Your rate for:
* A 5–10 minute YouTube video
* A 30–60 second Meta ad
* A vertical Short/Reel
3. Which editing software you use
4. Your internet speed (download/upload)
5. The word Video Editior at the beginning of your application so we know you’ve read the entire posting.
6. Tell us about your favourite YouTube creator or channel from an editing perspective and what you like about their editing style.
We review every application carefully and are looking for someone we’d love to work with for years, not just for one project.
