Hey!
I’m looking for a skilled and reliable video editor to create YouTube videos in the fitness niche: strength, mobility and longevity.
Videos are typically 12–15 minutes long. I provide the script and voiceover, so you do not need to research or write the content.
Your job is to bring the video to life using:
- Relevant clips and B-roll
- Images and clear exercise demonstrations
- Background music
- Clean editing and strong pacing
Payment:
- $30 USD per English video
- +$10 USD per additional language
- Each project usually includes English and six translated versions
- Total: $90 USD per complete project
Uploading the finished videos to YouTube is also part of the role. Instructions are provided.
Translated versions:
I provide the translated scripts and voiceovers. You reuse the English edit, adjusting timing and on-screen text to match each language.
An efficient workflow for producing these versions is important.
Editing style:
Clean, professional and engaging, with strong pacing and a focus on viewer retention. Exercise footage must accurately match the narration.
You will follow provided brand guidelines, with room for creativity within that style.
Tools:
Our current editors mainly use:
- Editing: CapCut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Footage and visuals: Vecteezy, Storyblocks, Pexels and Canva Pro
- AI visuals: ChatGPT, Gemini or Google Flow
- Music: YouTube Audio Library or Storyblocks
You do not need every tool listed. Equivalent tools are welcome if you can deliver the same quality efficiently. Please mention which tools you use and which paid subscriptions you already have.
Workflow and turnaround:
- Around one project per week, with potential for more
- English first draft within 48 hours of receiving all materials
- Please state how much additional time you need for all six translated versions
Fast turnaround is a huge plus, provided the quality, accuracy and pacing remain strong. I’m looking for someone who can deliver consistently without long waits between versions.
Who I’m looking for - Someone who:
- Has experience editing YouTube videos
- Understands pacing and viewer retention
- Is fluent in English
- Is reliable and meets deadlines
- Can source relevant footage and visuals
- Has an efficient workflow for multiple language versions
How to apply:
Start your application with your favorite animal, so I know you read the post.
Please include:
1. One or two examples of your best YouTube edits
2. The editing software and visual sources you use
3. Your realistic turnaround for the English edit and the complete seven-language project
4. A brief answer: What makes a YouTube video engaging in the first 30 seconds?
Be ready to complete a one-minute test edit in English, with no translations.
Example video style:
Looking forward to working with you long-term if it’s a good fit!
