JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
I'm an entrepreneur documenting my dropshipping journey on YouTube and sharing actionable business insights with my audience. I shoot high-quality footage on a DJI camera and need a talented, reliable video editor to take full ownership of the post-production process — so I can stay focused on filming and running the business.
The goal is to publish 2 videos per week, consistently.

Video Types

Lifestyle/Vlog Videos — Daily life, driving, working, and the reality of running a business. Fast-paced, narrative-driven, and engaging.
Educational/Talking-Head Videos — Dropshipping strategies, business lessons, and actionable advice. Clean, structured, and visually supported.

Your Responsibilities

Take 20+ minutes of raw footage and cut it into a polished, engaging 8–15 minute YouTube video
Adapt your editing style to suit each video type
Add background music, sound effects, text overlays, B-roll, and smooth transitions to maximize viewer retention
Perform basic color grading and audio enhancement for a professional look and sound
Work independently — raw footage will be uploaded to Google Drive; you find the story, make the cuts, and deliver the finished product

What I'm Looking For

Proven experience editing YouTube videos in the entrepreneurship, business, or lifestyle vlog niches
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Strong understanding of YouTube pacing, retention strategies, and storytelling
Proactive, self-directed, and requires minimal hand-holding
Reliable with consistent turnaround times

Workflow

File sharing via Google Drive
Clear communication and a straightforward revision process
Room to grow into a full-time role with increased pay as the channel scales
