Part-Time | 2 Videos Per Week | Long-Term Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled YouTube Video Editor who understands how to create engaging, clean, and professional content that keeps viewers watching.
This is not just a basic editing role. We are looking for someone who understands pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention, and can take raw footage and turn it into a polished, high-quality video.
You will work closely with the creator to bring content to life and help improve overall video performance.
What You’ll Be Editing
Educational and business-focused YouTube videos
Talking-head style content with teaching, tips, and strategies
Videos typically range from 10–20 minutes
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing (Core Role)
Edit 2 YouTube videos per week
Cut out filler words, pauses, and unnecessary content
Maintain strong pacing to keep viewer attention
Ensure clean, professional final output
2. Engagement Optimization
Add subtle zooms, cuts, and movement to avoid static visuals
Use text overlays to highlight key points
Incorporate on-screen elements (bullet points, callouts, emphasis text)
Help strengthen the flow and structure of the video
3. Video Structure Support
Ensure a strong and engaging beginning (hook)
Create smooth transitions between sections
Maintain clarity and flow throughout
Support a clear and strong ending or call-to-action
4. Branding & Consistency
Follow brand guidelines (fonts, colors, style)
Maintain a clean and consistent editing style across videos
Keep visuals aligned with a professional, educational brand
5. Optional (Preferred but Not Required)
Cut 2–5 short clips per video for social media (Reels/Shorts)
What We Are Looking For
Strong understanding of YouTube editing and viewer retention
Ability to create engaging but not overly distracting edits
Good sense of pacing, timing, and flow
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to take feedback and improve quickly
Reliable and able to meet deadlines
Required Tools & Skills
Proficiency in at least one:
Adobe Premiere Pro
Final Cut Pro
CapCut (advanced users)
Basic understanding of YouTube content structure and engagement
Ability to export high-quality videos optimized for YouTube
Bonus Qualifications
Experience editing for YouTube creators or online educators
Basic motion graphics (After Effects or similar)
Understanding of YouTube analytics and retention strategies
Workload & Compensation
2 videos per week
Pay: $40–$80 per video (based on experience and quality)
