JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
Motion Craft Media is seeking an experienced video editor to join our production team. We produce engaging YouTube content including podcasts and creative business content that requires polished, professional editing with strong storytelling skills.
What You'll Be Editing:

YouTube videos ranging from 5-10 minutes in length
Podcast content and creative business videos
Content requires selecting best takes, pacing, and narrative flow

Required Skills & Experience:

Must have: Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve Studio (not the free version)
Must have: Experience working with Blackmagic Cloud collaborative workflows
Audio cleanup and enhancement (dialogue editing, noise reduction, EQ)
Trendy animated text/titles and lower thirds
B-roll selection and integration
Strategic use of overlays and graphics
Sound design and music selection
Strong sense of pacing and storytelling for YouTube content

Technical Requirements:

Reliable high-speed internet connection for cloud collaboration
Available during overlapping hours for communication (please specify your timezone and availability)
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality

Compensation:
$ ---------- USD per video (based on complexity and experience)
Estimated 4-6 hours of work per video at approximately $25/hour equivalent
Starting as per-project work with potential to transition to monthly retainer for the right candidate.
