About the Channel:
The Balloon Boutique Studio is a YouTube channel dedicated to balloon decorating tutorials, event decor inspiration, and behind the scenes content. We currently have 6,800+ subscribers and are actively growing toward 10,000. Our audience includes balloon artists, event planners, DIY decorators, and party enthusiasts.

About the Role:
I am looking for a talented, detail-oriented, and reliable video editor who can take my raw long-form footage and transform it into polished, engaging YouTube content that matches the fun and festive personality of the channel. This is not just an editing role — you will also be responsible for optimizing each video for search and creating Shorts from long-form content. This is a part-time ongoing role with the potential to grow.

Your Responsibilities:

Edit long-form YouTube tutorial and event videos from raw footage
Add captions, lower thirds, and text overlays where needed
Color grade footage for a warm, vibrant, and professional look
Add background music at appropriate levels without overpowering original audio
Create YouTube Shorts from long-form videos to maximize reach
Write SEO-optimized video titles for both long-form videos and Shorts
Write keyword-rich video descriptions
Research and provide relevant hashtags for every video
Suggest and create SEO-optimized thumbnail title text
Deliver edited videos within agreed turnaround time

You Are the Right Fit If You:

Have experience editing YouTube tutorial or lifestyle content specifically
Have a portfolio of long-form YouTube videos you have edited
Understand YouTube SEO — titles, descriptions, tags, and hashtags
Are proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Have experience creating YouTube Shorts from long-form content
Have a strong eye for pacing, color, and storytelling
Are reliable, communicative, and meet deadlines consistently
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Are comfortable with creative, colorful, and fun content

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of YouTube video editing experience
Demonstrated understanding of YouTube SEO and content optimization
Stable internet connection
Own computer with video editing software
Available for a weekly check-in via Zoom or Messenger
Able to receive feedback professionally and make revisions promptly

Revision Policy:
Each video includes up to two rounds of revisions. Additional revision requests beyond that will be discussed on a case by case basis.
