# YouTube Video Editor & Content Manager (Long-Term Opportunity)

**Job Type:** Part-Time, Remote
**Workload:** 2–3 YouTube Videos Per Week
**Location:** Philippines

## About the Position

We're looking for a talented, reliable, and detail-oriented **YouTube Video Editor & Content Manager** to join our growing team.

Our company creates content focused on men's dating, confidence, lifestyle, and personal development.

We're looking for someone who can take our raw video footage and handle the entire editing and publishing process, including video editing, thumbnail creation, YouTube descriptions, and preparing videos for publication.

This position will initially focus on YouTube, but there is significant opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and grow with our company.

We're looking for someone interested in a long-term position, not just individual editing projects.

## Key Responsibilities

### 1. YouTube Video Editing (2–3 Videos Per Week)

- Edit 2–3 long-form YouTube videos per week.
- Download and organize raw footage from Google Drive.
- Remove unnecessary pauses, mistakes, stutters, and repeated sentences.
- Maintain natural, engaging pacing and conversational flow.
- Create clean, professional videos that keep viewers engaged.
- Follow our established editing style and brand guidelines.
- Submit completed videos for review and make revisions as needed.

Our editing style is relatively straightforward. We're not looking for excessive animations or complicated effects. We value clean editing, good pacing, and attention to detail.

### 2. YouTube Thumbnail Creation

- Create one engaging, high-quality thumbnail for each video.
- Use ChatGPT and other design tools as needed.
- Work with our existing photos and established brand guidelines.
- Develop thumbnails that communicate the video's main message and encourage clicks.
- Submit thumbnails for approval and make requested revisions.

### 3. YouTube Uploading & Publishing

- Use video transcripts and our existing ChatGPT instructions to generate YouTube descriptions.
- Include appropriate calls to action, links, and formatting.
- Upload videos to YouTube Studio.
- Add provided titles, thumbnails, and descriptions.
- Prepare videos for review and approval before publishing.
- Ensure everything is accurate, organized, and properly formatted.

### 4. Opportunity for Growth

As our content production expands, this position may grow to include:

- Editing and publishing YouTube Shorts.
- Repurposing long-form videos into short-form social media content.
- Scheduling and distributing content across additional social media platforms.
- Helping manage content calendars and publishing schedules.
- Taking on broader content management and social media responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who is excited about growing into a larger role as the company expands.

## Required Skills

- Strong video editing experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
- Experience editing long-form YouTube videos.
- Ability to create professional, engaging YouTube thumbnails.
- Good understanding of video pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Comfortable using ChatGPT and AI-powered tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and spoken English comprehension.
- Ability to follow established brand guidelines and instructions.
- Reliable communication and consistent turnaround times.
- Comfortable working independently after training.

**Preferred but Not Required:**

- Experience with YouTube Studio.
- Experience using ---------- for video reviews.
- Experience editing YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok videos.
- Familiarity with Google Drive and social media scheduling tools.

## What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, pays attention to details, and consistently delivers high-quality results.

You should have a good creative eye, understand what makes YouTube videos engaging, and be able to follow our brand guidelines without requiring constant supervision.

Initially, all videos, thumbnails, and descriptions will be submitted for approval. Once you've demonstrated consistency and an understanding of our standards, the goal is for you to manage the editing and publishing process independently.
