About Us
The Social Studio is a UK-based content agency. We build and run YouTube channels for established fitness coaches and creators, everything from IFBB Pro athletes to online business mentors. We're not chasing generic "content." We care about packaging, click-through, and thumbnails that actually earn the click. We're looking for a long-term designer to join the team as our roster grows.
The Role
You'll be designing high-performing YouTube thumbnails that stop the scroll and drive clicks, plus supporting graphic design across our channels (channel art, banners, and other brand assets). This is a packaging role. We don't want someone who just knows Photoshop. We want someone who understands why a thumbnail gets clicked.
What you'll do

Design scroll-stopping YouTube thumbnails that drive click-through
Work title and thumbnail together as a package, not in isolation
Create channel art, banners, and other brand graphics as needed
Produce clean composites: cut-outs, retouching, colour work, text treatment
Match and evolve each client's visual style while keeping it consistent
Work to briefs and packaging direction from our team
Iterate based on feedback and performance
Deliver consistently and on time

Requirements

Proven YouTube thumbnail portfolio (this is essential, no portfolio means no reply)
Expert-level Photoshop skills
Strong compositing: clean cut-outs, retouching, colour correction, lighting
A real eye for click psychology and visual hierarchy (what the eye lands on first and why)
Understanding of title and thumbnail synergy
Solid general graphic design ability for channel art and brand assets
Good written English and clear communication
Reliable, deadline-driven, self-managing
Your own setup and stable internet

Nice to have

Fitness, gym, or coaching content experience
Illustrator and After Effects
Experience designing for personal brands or creators
Familiarity with YouTube analytics and CTR

Hours & Availability

Output-based role: we care about quality and consistency, not clocking hours
Flexible working, but you'll need reasonable overlap with UK hours for communication
100% remote
Long-term, ongoing

Salary

Competitive: PHP 25,000 to 45,000 per month, depending on experience and skillset.
