About the work

I run a US-based digital agency with several brands and projects under it, including a feature film campaign, YouTube channels, and a tech startup. All of them need the same thing: strong, current, scroll-stopping content. That's where you come in.

What you'll be doing

YouTube thumbnails that actually get clicked. This is the core skill I'm hiring for, but the role is bigger than thumbnails.
Social graphics and post designs for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube community posts
Short-form video edits (Reels, Shorts) from footage we provide
Titles, tags, and descriptions written for humans first and the algorithm second
Taking a basic idea fro ---------- (usually a voice note or a few rough sentences) and turning it into a post that looks pro

You won't be scheduling posts or answering comments. This is a creative role, not an admin role.

The growth path (read this part)

This starts part-time at 15-20 hours a week. That's on purpose. I want us to work together for a few months and make sure it's a great fit on both sides. If it is, the plan is to grow this into a full-time role within 3-6 months, with a pay review at 90 days. I'm looking for someone long-term, not a one-project freelancer. The work is steady and it's varied.

Who I'm looking for

You have a portfolio of thumbnails made for real YouTube channels, and you can show me the channels
Your design style looks like 2026, not 2019. You know what's working on YouTube and social right now because you watch it every day.
Excellent written and spoken English. We'll talk on calls, and you'll be writing titles and descriptions for an American audience.
Reliable, communicates clearly, meets deadlines without being chased
