About the Role:
Hello! I run YouTube channels in the "text story / hypothetical scenario" niche and I'm looking for a reliable editor to assemble one Short per day on an ongoing basis. This is simple, straightforward, template-driven work. All the raw assets are given to you, so you're not sourcing anything or writing anything.
If you're accurate, consistent, and can hit a simple checklist, this is easy recurring income with room to grow as the channels scale.
What You'll Do:
For each video you'll receive four assets:
- Background footage
- A voiceover recording
- A set of text message conversation images
- Background music
Your job is to combine them into a finished vertical Short. The signature style is a sequence of short transition crops that gradually reveal the image content, timed to the voiceover. Video tutorials are provided so you'll know exactly how to match the look.
Example:
Deliverable Specs (every video MUST follow these):
- Aspect ratio: 9:16 vertical (1080 × 1920)
- Frame rate: 60fps
- Export: high quality / high bitrate
- Audio: Voiceover levelled to between -1 dB and -4 dB, music -16db to -18db
- Length: The video must match the exact length of the voiceover (40–50 seconds).
- Uploaded to Google Drive or similar file sharing service.
Workflow & Logistics:
- Volume: 1 video/day, 7 per week
- Assets: delivered a full week at a time, ahead of schedule, via
- Communication: everything runs through
- Onboarding: step-by-step video tutorials provided
Compensation
- $3-$3.50 USD per video (rate depends on speed, quality, and consistency)
- Paid via Wise (or PayPal if absolutely necessary)
- Ongoing / long-term: this is not a one-off. I want someone to work with for the foreseeable future.
Who I'm Looking For
- Experience editing vertical short-form video (CapCut, Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci - whatever you're fastest in, as long as you hit the specs)
- Detail-oriented: you follow a checklist without being reminded
- Reliable daily turnaround and responsive on
- Able to match a defined style rather than doing your own thing
How to Apply
To prove you actually read this, start your reply with the word REVEAL.
Then include:
- A link to 1–2 short-form videos you've edited (portfolio, Drive folder, or YouTube)
- What software you edit in
- Your timezone and roughly how many hours/day you're available
- Confirmation you can use
Applications missing the codeword or a work sample will be skipped.
