YouTube Video Editor — Weekly Lifestyle & Beauty Content (1 YT Video Week & 5 Reels Per Week)

Hello!
My name is Ayanna, and I’m looking for a reliable, talented YouTube video editor to join my team long-term. I run a lifestyle, beauty, and wellness YouTube channel & Instagram. These videos include:
• Vlogs & multiple montage cuts
• Sit-down videos
• Chatty videos
• Hauls
• Beauty routines
• Travel montages
• Lifestyle montages
• Story-time style edits

I need someone who understands fast-paced, modern editing and can turn raw footage into clean, engaging, binge-able content.

???? What You’ll Be Doing
• Editing one (1) YouTube video per week, consistently.
• Taking 45–90 minutes of raw footage and editing it down into a polished 20–30 minute final video.
• Editing vlogs, sit-downs, and montage-style sections with smooth pacing, transitions, captions (when needed), subtle sound design, and simple effects.
• Adding music (royalty-free), light color correction, and minor audio cleanup. ( I’ll send over music)
• Creating simple & aesthetic thumbnails (1 per video).
• Delivering files through Google Drive (final video + thumbnail).
• Participating in occasional check-ins for feedback and improvement.

Instagram Reels
* Fast pace 30-60s Videos
*2 clips per second (clip being 0.5 of a second)
*Need to be aesthetic
*Quick Vlogs
*Need to Capture THE BEST Footage
*Needs an eye for content
*you will be receiving video clips & Audio to combine together

???? Skills I’m Looking For
• Strong proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Desktop, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience editing lifestyle vlogs and beauty content — bonus if you’ve edited for influencers before.
• Ability to keep pacing engaging and aesthetic.
• Basic graphic design skills for thumbnail creation.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly.
• Must handle consistent weekly output.

• $500 USD per month
• Paid monthly and consistently
• Long-term role (6+ months minimum commitment)

???? Requirements
• At least 1–2 years of editing experience
• Portfolio or sample edits (You must attach examples of vlog or sit-down editing)
• Stable WiFi + consistent availability
• Willing to use Google Drive for all file exchanges

???? Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Preferred)
• Knowledge of YouTube pacing and retention
• Ability to edit snappy jump cuts
• Experience color grading darker skin tones
• Experience making YouTube shorts from long-form content
• Ability to work independently without micromanaging
