# YouTube Documentary Scriptwriter (True Crime)

We're looking for an experienced YouTube documentary scriptwriter to join our growing channel.

**IMPORTANT:** Please only apply if you have written long-form YouTube documentary scripts before. We are **not** looking for blog writers, article writers, or ChatGPT copy-paste content.

## What You'll Do

* Write engaging documentary-style scripts for YouTube.
* Turn research into compelling, high-retention stories.
* Create strong hooks that keep viewers watching.
* Write smooth transitions and build suspense naturally.
* Follow factual sources while making the story engaging.
* Deliver scripts on time.

## Ideal Experience

* Previous experience writing YouTube documentary scripts (Required)
* Experience with true crime, investigative, history, or documentary content
* Excellent English grammar and storytelling
* Understands audience retention and YouTube pacing
* Able to write naturally without sounding robotic or AI-generated
* Can follow a provided script structure and style

## Script Requirements

* Documentary style
* Approximately 25–30 minutes in length
* Factually accurate
* Original writing only (no plagiarism)
* Clear formatting and organization
