JOB OVERVIEW

Restoration Doctor is a water, fire, mold and sewage damage restoration company in Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Every job ends in a scope sheet: Xactimate line items, room measurements, equipment days and labor hours that become the estimate a carrier pays against. The owner checks every sheet himself today. We are hiring two experienced Xactimate estimators to take that review over, and the first two people in the seat will lead the review team as it grows.

THE WORK
You review scope sheets that our project managers submit through our dashboard, before they are approved. For each sheet you:
- Confirm every room name and dimension against the Matterport 3D scan (floor SF, wall SF, ceiling SF, flooring SY, perimeter LF).
- Verify equipment counts and unit-days from the CompanyCam photo record. The photographed count sheet wins.
- Verify supervisory hours from the first and last photo of each day on site.
- Check every line item's unit and quantity against the measured room: flood cuts in LF, tear-outs in SF, antimicrobial on the treated surface.
- Open the evidence photo on every confirmed line and d ---------- if it shows the billed work.
- Catch what is missing (PPE, decontamination, antimicrobial, hauling, final cleaning) and what is billed twice.
- Approve, or send the sheet back with a written note the project manager can act on line by line.
Volume today is five to ten sheets a week across the team, and it grows with the team. A full review takes three to five hours.

YOU NEED
- 2+ years writing or reviewing Xactimate estimates for US water mitigation work. Level 2 or higher is a plus.

- Working knowledge of IICRC S500 drying principles and loss categories.

- Comfort reading 3D scans and floor plans, and working from photo timestamps.

- Fluent written English. You will write to project managers and, at times, to adjusters.

- Reliable availability 8:00 am to 5:00 pm US Eastern, Monday to Friday (8:00 pm to 5:00 am Manila during US daylight time, one hour later from November to March).

- Your own computer with two screens, a stable 25 Mbps or better connection, and a quiet workspace.
A plus: IICRC WRT, hands-on time with CompanyCam, Matterport, Encircle or DocuSketch, TPA or insurance claims review experience.

This role is not for you if you do not have at least 24 months of expereice writing interior water damage/mold estimates from scratch. This role will sometimes have you check someone else's, or if you are uncomfortable constantly staying in communication with on site project managers and possibly telling a project manager in writing that a line is wrong or needs changing this role is not for you.

PAY AND TERMS
- Full rate: $1,700 to $2,000 USD per month for 40 paid hours a week, set by experience. Five or more years of Xactimate work places you at the top of the range. The figure includes a 10 percent night differential for US hours.
- Training month (days 1 to 30): 80 percent of your agreed full rate ($1,360 to $1,600). You review alongside the owner on live sheets and closed jobs. You move to the full rate on day 31 when your last ten reviews match the owner's decision on at least nine. The step-up date goes in your contract. If you fall short, the engagement ends.
- 13th month pay, paid in December (pro-rated in year one).
- Paid Philippine regular holidays after 90 days. HMO allowance of $35/month after 90 days. Internet allowance of $30/month from day one.
- Paid every two weeks in USD through Wise.
- We provide and pay for all logins: our dashboard, CompanyCam and Matterport. The review runs in our custom dashboard, so you do not need your own Xactimate seat.
- Independent contractor, month to month, renewed on performance.
- Start as soon as you are hired. Applications close October 28th, 2026.
