JOB OVERVIEW

Overview:
We are a growing public adjusting firm seeking an experienced Xactimate Estimate Writer to prepare accurate, detailed estimates for property damage claims. Ideal candidates have a background in insurance claims, restoration, or construction and can deliver fast turnaround times.

Responsibilities:
-Write detailed estimates using Xactimate (X1)
-Review scope of loss, photos, and documentation
-Ensure estimates align with industry standards and carrier expectations
-Revise estimates based on feedback or negotiations
-Maintain quick turnaround times without sacrificing accuracy

Qualifications:
-Proven experience using Xactimate
-Background in insurance claims, restoration, or construction
-Strong understanding of estimating practices and line items
-Ability to interpret photos, reports, and scopes of work
-Detail-oriented and highly organized

-Strong communication skills

Bonus:
-Experience working with public adjusters or contractors
-Familiarity with supplements and negotiations
