Job Title: Written Content Specialist (Home?Services Niche)

Company: LocalSink — US?based, fast?growing agency for home?service businesses

Employment: Full?time, long?term

Compensation: USD $1,200/month to start, with clear growth paths and performance?based increases

Location: Remote, Philippines

Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with at least 4 hours overlap with 9am–5pm Pacific Time (Las Vegas) for the first few weeks.

Role Summary
We’re adding an A?player to our content team. You’ll turn client videos and transcripts into high?quality written content across blogs, social media, and press releases for 30+ home?service clients. This is a full?time, long?term role with real growth potential.

What You’ll Do
-Repurpose client video transcripts into clear, helpful blog posts using structured outlines and targeted prompts
-Repurpose the same content into social media captions, short posts, and carousel copy using our templates and ChatGPT prompts
-Draft Google Business Profile posts and short web copy aligned with local SEO best practices
-Write press releases for service launches, new locations, partnerships, or community news
-Update existing, underperforming blog content for clients
-Follow brand voice guidelines across 30+ clients; ensure every draft is publish?ready
-Use Google Sheets to track output, deadlines, and approvals; organize files in Google Drive
-Light Canva work (select images, light formatting for carousels/graphics) using ready templates
-Edit, proofread, and fact?check; improve AI?assisted drafts into natural, human?quality content
-Collaborate with our team via written updates and short check?ins; meet tight but reasonable turnarounds

Must?Have Experience
-ChatGPT (prompting, structuring, and editing AI?assisted drafts)
-Blog content creation for business audiences
-Social media copywriting (IG/FB/YouTube Shorts/TikTok captions)
-Press releases (format, angle, headline writing)
-Local SEO fundamentals (search intent, internal linking basics, on?page best practices, GBP posts)
-Canva, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive
-Excellent written English and confident spoken English

Nice to Have (Not Required)
-WordPress/Gutenberg posting
-On?page SEO tools (Surfer, Clearscope) or keyword research tools (Ahrefs/SEMrush)
-Experience with home?service industries (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, restoration, roofing, etc.)

Success Looks Like
-Clear, concise, on?brand writing at a 5th–8th grade reading level when appropriate
-Meets deadlines consistently and maintains quality with minimal revisions
-Transforms transcripts into content that’s easy to scan and genuinely useful
-Applies SEO basics (headings, keywords in context, internal links, CTAs) without keyword stuffing
-Keeps our trackers up to date and communicates proactively

Schedule & Setup
-Full?time, 40 hours/week
-Flexible PH schedule with at least 2–3 hours overlap with US Pacific Time on weekdays
