JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a WordPress & Shopify & Research Assistant who will work as a direct extension of the owner. You will support all daily operations related to websites, online stores, SEO, research, creatives and basic order follow-up. The ideal candidate is highly structured, extremely punctual, perfectionistic, and follows instructions exactly as given.

Main Responsibilities
1. Facebook Ads Library research

Search and analyse winning ads and creatives based on very specific criteria.

Document findings clearly in Google Sheets / Excel.

Follow step-by-step instructions without skipping or changing anything.

2. WordPress design & implementation

Build and edit pages in WordPress (Elementor or similar page builders).

Implement pixel-perfect layouts from examples or written instructions.

Work confidently with HTML & basic CSS to adjust sections, buttons, layouts, and responsive design.

3. Shopify store management & operations

Create and update products, collections, menus and basic theme settings.

Maintain clean, consistent product pages (titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, tags).

Implement upsells, offer blocks and simple Liquid/HTML sections when needed.

Regularly check the store for broken links, layout issues, missing images or errors and fix them.

Assist with order & customer follow-up:

Look up orders, tracking and payment status when there is a question or problem.

Help prepare and follow SOPs for returns, refunds, resends and problem cases, and escalate to the owner when needed.

Keep a clear log of all actions taken on each case.

Act as a full backup for daily Shopify tasks so the owner can step away and the business still runs smoothly.

4. SEO-specific improvements (WordPress & Shopify)

Implement SEO improvements based on analyses and checklists provided by the owner.

Optimise slugs, meta titles, meta descriptions and on-page structure according to a fixed SEO system.

Improve internal linking, headings, image alt text and basic technical SEO elements.

Monitor key pages after changes and keep detailed notes of what was changed and why.

5. Creatives & Canva

Use Canva (and similar tools) to create ad creatives, social media posts, thumbnails and simple web graphics.

Follow the owner’s exact visual guidelines and instructions (fonts, colours, layout, text length, language, brand style).

Adapt existing templates and build new ones when needed.

Export files in the correct sizes, formats and naming structure for ads and websites.

6. General support, AI & research

Competitor research for products, offers, funnels and creatives.

Use AI tools for first drafts of product descriptions, ad angles, blogs and SEO texts, strictly following the owner’s prompts.

Edit and polish AI output so it matches brand tone, structure and SEO rules.

Daily reporting of what has been done, with links and screenshots when useful.

Gradually learn to handle everything the owner can do on WordPress, Shopify, SEO, creatives and research tasks.

Working Style & Expectations

You work as a supporter and extension of the owner, not as a “do it your way” freelancer.

You must be available and reachable during all working hours (chat / voice when needed).

You will work with AnyDesk permanently open during work time, so the owner can see your screen at any ---------- nt and give live feedback.

You are extremely punctual: you start on time, respect deadlines, and communicate immediately if something blocks you.

You are perfectionistic in a good way: small details matter (spacing, fonts, spelling, slugs, URLs, image names, internal links, etc.).

You follow instructions to the letter: no improvisation unless explicitly requested.

If something is unclear, you ask once, then document the solution for future use (SOP mindset).

Schedule & Availability

Full-time: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Fixed working hours: 11:00 – 19:00 GMT

This corresponds to 12:00 – 20:00 Belgium time.

You must have a stable internet connection and a working environment that allows constant availability during these hours.

Requirements

Strong experience with WordPress design (preferably Elementor or similar builders).

Good knowledge of HTML (and basic CSS) for editing sections, layouts and responsive issues.

Solid experience with Shopify (products, collections, basic theme edits, simple Liquid/HTML, store hygiene).

Experience or strong interest in Facebook Ads Library research and e-commerce.

Basic to intermediate SEO knowledge, and willingness to strictly follow a provided SEO framework.

Experience using Canva and other tools to create clean, conversion-focused creatives from strict instructions.

Comfortable using AI tools for writing and research and then refining the output.

Good written and spoken English.

Reliable, organised, detail-obsessed, and comfortable being supervised live through AnyDesk.
