JOB OVERVIEW

WordPress SEO Setup & Keyword Optimization (Contract/Gig)

Remote OK | Immediate Start

We are a small professional services firm looking for an experienced WordPress SEO specialist to optimize our existing site for search visibility and lead generation. This is an immediate, short term gig with potential for ongoing work.

Scope of Work:

• Full technical SEO audit of our WordPress/Elementor site
• On page SEO optimization (meta titles, descriptions, header tags, alt text, URL structure)
• Keyword research and mapping for local service area targeting
• Implement relevant schema markup
• Set up and configure an SEO plugin (Yoast or Rank Math)
• Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance
• XML sitemap creation and submission to Google Search Console
• Google Business Profile optimization and local SEO setup
• Provide a keyword strategy document we can use for ongoing content creation

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience with WordPress SEO, specifically Elementor based sites
• Strong understanding of local SEO for service based businesses
• Comfortable working on a fast timeline
• Can show examples of past SEO audits or ranking improvements
