JOB OVERVIEW

A UK-based dental and skin clinic is looking for a highly proactive and technically savvy WordPress Elementor Virtual Assistant to manage and improve our clinic website on an ongoing basis. The website is built on WordPress using Elementor, with Yoast SEO installed.

Core responsibilities:

Manage ongoing WordPress Elementor website updates for a dental and skin clinic.

Upload 2–3 blog articles per month (copy and images provided), format in Elementor, add internal links, categories, tags and publish on schedule.

Duplicate existing Elementor templates and create new service pages such as “condition pages”, “treatment pages” and “diagnostic pages” following existing design and branding.

Implement bug fixes when issues arise (layout problems, broken links, plugin conflicts, mobile responsiveness, form issues, etc.).

Perform on-page SEO optimisation using Yoast SEO, including keyword optimisation, meta titles, meta descriptions, slugs, image alt text and internal linking for all new and existing pages.

Review and optimise site accessibility where needed (readability, contrast, headings, alt tags, navigation) and maintain general site health (updates, broken links, speed, basic security best practices).

Proactively think of and suggest ideas to increase site traffic and leads (e.g. optimising existing content, creating new pages or blog topics, improving internal linking and calls?to?action).

Provide simple monthly summaries of work completed and recommendations for further improvements.

Brand guidelines, tone-of-voice guidance and examples of existing pages to follow.

Access to WordPress, Elementor, Yoast SEO and relevant tools.

Requirements:

Strong experience with WordPress and Elementor (please share example sites or pages you have built/managed).

Solid understanding of on-page SEO and hands-on experience using Yoast SEO (or similar plugins).

Comfortable duplicating templates and building service/condition/treatment pages with consistent design and structure.

Ability to troubleshoot common WordPress issues and coordinate with hosting support if needed.

Good understanding of website accessibility best practices and general site health (updates, backups, speed, mobile responsiveness).

Good written English and attention to detail.

Reliable, organised and comfortable working independently while proactively suggesting improvements.

Experience working with healthcare, dental, medical or aesthetics websites is a plus but not essential.

About the role:

Client: Dental and skin clinic in the United Kingdom.

Workload: Ongoing, starting part-time with the potential to increase hours as we grow.

Schedule: Flexible, but we require some overlap with UK business hours for communication and updates.

Long-term relationship preferred.
