JOB OVERVIEW

I run a small web and media agency in Germany ([ ---------- ]( ---------- )). We design our websites in-house in Adobe XD / Figma and build them in WordPress with Elementor Pro. I'm looking for one person to take over the build side completely.
Two members of my team have been based in the Philippines for several months now and it has been working really well. That is exactly why I am hiring here again. You would not be the only one on the team.
We produce one to two websites per month. You receive a finished Figma file or design draft — spacing, colours, typography and states all defined — and you build it so that it matches the design exactly and works properly on desktop, tablet and mobile.
Responsibilities:
Build WordPress websites with Elementor Pro from finished Figma designs
Pixel-accurate implementation across desktop, tablet and mobile
Set up global styles, theme builder and reusable templates
Prepare images, handle logos and export clean SVG assets
Set up hosting, domains and basic site configuration
Make ongoing changes and updates to live client sites
Test every page yourself before handover and fix what you find
Requirements:
Real experience building WordPress sites with Elementor Pro — not just editing existing ones
Confident working from Figma files / Adobe XD files / Claude Design files
You work with containers, global styles and the theme builder
You speak up the same day when something takes longer or you get stuck, not at the deadline
Good written and spoken English
Stable internet and a plan for brownouts
Nice to have, not required:
Webflow — if you have built sites in Webflow, that is a big plus. We may take on Webflow projects, and it usually means you already think in clean structure and reusable classes.
A real grounding in web design and Figma — you understand layout, hierarchy, spacing and typography, not just how to click elements together
Basic CSS for the things Elementor can't do on its own
Understanding of on-page SEO, Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Photoshop and Illustrator for image preparation, logo files and SVG exports
You already work with AI tools like Claude in your daily workflow
An eye for detail — you notice when something is slightly off even when nobody specified it
If you bring some of these, good. If you bring all of them, say so and it will show in the offer.
Hours and how we work:
40 hours per week is preferred. If you are strong but can only do 20 hours, apply anyway and tell me — I would rather have a good person part time than an average one full time.
Your schedule is flexible, but I need at least four hours of overlap with German business hours. That is roughly 3 PM to 7 PM Manila time.
We use Google Meet and RustDesk.
For the first one to two months we have regular calls where we build projects together and I show you exactly how I want things done. After that you run most things on your own.
What I offer:
A long-term position, not project work — I am hiring someone I intend to keep for years
Direct communication with me, no layers in between
Real training — the first weeks are me teaching you our standards, not throwing you at tickets
Important: Design knowledge is welcome, but this is a build role. The designs come from us, finished. I want someone who understands why a design works and therefore builds it exactly right — not someone who wants to redesign it along the way.
Please answer these four questions:
- Send links to two or three WordPress sites you built with Elementor, and tell me which parts you personally built. If you have Webflow work as well, send that too.
- Have you worked from Figma files before?
- What hourly rate are you looking for (in USD), how many hours per week can you commit, and what does that come to as a monthly figure?
- What is your internet speed, do you have a backup connection, and what is your setup when there is a brownout?
